Who is this package/service for?
This service is designed for those who are self-motivated, able to manage changes in lifestyle on their own over time, but are experiencing plateau's in their health or a decline in their health, symptoms that have not been able to be resolved, weight loss resistance, or confusion in what to try next for their health.
We support those who are looking to optimize their health so it doesn't hold them back, but instead supports them in reaching their fullest potential at any age.
Do you do any other kind of testing? Why would they be different than what I can get through my doctor.
Yes, we also offer blood testing, hormone testing, GI microbiome gut heath testing, and much more. If you are interested in adding an additional test to your package please reach out to support@shortmethod.com and we'll help you determine what additional functional lab tests may be best for you.
These tests are different than what you will find within the Western medicine scope of practice because of their comprehensiveness of data collection and how we utilize that information in the consultation and education delivered with your results. We think "big picture" when we are looking at the body and these functional lab tests allow us to do that.
There are no limits to what we can test! This is a wonderful benefit of not using insurance.
Can I get access to any of these same tests through my doctor so I can use insurance?
Unfortunately we have never seen this successfully done. You may have the best, most understanding doctor but they have to work within the restraints of insurance. Insurance doesn't usually pay for this level of preventative care.
We've learned personally, insurance is in the business of sick care, not health care.
Where do I get my testing done?
Genetics tests are simply shipped directly to your house, you follow the easy instructions and mail it in. Easy.
If you add additional testing, each test has different instructions and many of them are similar to the genetics test in they are mailed directly to you.

After purchasing the "health Seeker package", you will receive your lab order from us directly with instructions on what's next.
Do you offer additional coaching or follow up?
Yes, we have a 6-month program and a membership program both offering ongoing coaching and testing to ensure goals are being met.
